Soon, no strings attached
Here’s an illustration made for the weekly Illustration Friday, this weeks theme: Strings.
Here we see a puppet looking like George W. Bush and is about to have its strings cut by the 2009 scissors.
The illustration is a pencil sketch which was scanned and imported in Xara Xtreme Pro where I added the colors.

This image was unfortunately not finished in time for the Illustration Friday top Enough. It’s a pencil sketch, which I scanned, copied and pasted in Xara Xtreme Pro where I added the colors. the spam text was copied from my spam mailbox, and made into a custom brush in Xara Xtreme to add the spam phrases easily to the image.

This weeks topic at Illustration Friday: Foggy
Foggy minds in foggy surroundings tend to make foggy decisions!
A quick ballpoint pen sketch, scanned and colorized in Xara Xtreme Pro.

This week’s topic was ‘sour‘. The lemon doesn’t get any sweeter by making it orange!
The pencil sketch was scanned and imported to Xara Xtreme Pro where I digitally added the colors.

This week’s topic for Illustration Friday is Fail… as in “failed to comply” or “failed to press Ctrl-S before the computer crashed”
Inked by hand, scanned and some color and texture added in my favorite graphics software Xara Xtreme Pro.
This week’s topic for Illustration Friday is Pet Peeve. I have always wondered what the big deal is about putting down the toilet seat… If one can lift it up and put it back down it shouldn’t be that hard to do it the other way either?!
Due lack of time this week I had only time for a quick pencil sketch with some quick colors added in Xara Xtreme Pro
BTW, at the moment writing I read the news about the next Xtreme release. The Xara Xtreme 4 beta is now available at the Talkgraphics forum
